Keith Olberman On CBS Sunday Morning

Don't know if you saw KO on Sunday Morning..first, nary a mention of the radio he does daily with Dan Patrick. Still, was very surprised that CBS would give such a shining light to a rising star on another network. They did a great job of not portraying him as the "super liberal" he has been tagged with because of disputes with distruthful conservatives. He (like me) talked about having personal conservative views and in no way giving a green light to an ideal simply because it was from a democrat. What comes from his heart is only a desire for the truth, and for those in the highest positions to have such disregard for it is more than a scary thing for the stability of our nations future. KO speaks the truth and with a sense of humor ..and most of all, I so fully appreciate the COUNTUP on COUNTDOWN of the days since the Mission Accomplished Declaration on the aircraft carrier ...we all need to be reminded ...I wish when it had happened everyone had seen through the celophane transparency of the campaign appearance.

The British Are Leaving , The British Are Leaving

When Iraw II began, it was about terrorism and removing a ruthless, out of control dictator. I think we all know enough about elite military operations to know that the latter could have been accomplished with a surgical strike ..and I cannot believe that Iraq would be WORSE off if the US had done just that. We aren't safer from terrorists, I am convinced of that. And we had probably better beware of whomever or whatever assumes power after we leave ...and leaving seems to be the only right thing to do now. I would be the first to stand up and say, "don't leave til the mission is accomplished,' brushing aside my bitterness of the image of Bush on the aircraft carrier with the big sign that said that the Mission was ALREADY accomplished. But now, its clear that there is no mission to BE accomplished left, but to wipe our bloody lip (bury our increasing dead) and contninue skirmishing in a fight in which we clearly now no longer belong in. We have lost all good will there ...and we are losing good young men. It hit very close to home to me this week with the death of a soldier near enough to my family to really matter and really cause tears to flow in my own home....and I know I am not alone in this experience. We've nothing to gain by staying ...except strategic position if Iran is the next target. If thats the plan, quit denying World War III began several years ago. Mission Far From Accomplished.

Super Bowl Commercials

I have seen the annual USA TODAY admeter ratings for Super Bowl 2007 ....and for the most part we can agree that certain commercials were better than others as always ..but what was surprising to so many is that the quality ...or better, what I mean is the ENTERTAINMENT VALUE of the commercials were way down. I DO realize that at those huge prices that a company pays, it is more important to NOT let the moment slip away without selling something ..but it has to be noted that except for the usual Annh3eiser Busch Spots, the sense of humor that is usually prevelant was mostly absent.

the top spots are on admeter on usatoday.com ..but the best one doesnt show up there ..cause it was a promo....Dave And Oprah

Al Gore Should Run

He wont run ...but many think we'd be better if he had won ..well..he did win, but lost on a technicality. ROLLLINGSTONE.COM has a great great great ariticle right now on how Al is who the Democrats need and why many who say they are for Hillary will change to Gore if he is in. Please read the article and draw your own conclusions. 6 years ago our nation picked a C student over a compassionate visionary whose mocked upon theories have proven to be right. He opposed the war from the start, warned of Global Warming before almost anyone else, and has lost the "stiffness" that probably caused so many to not like him aganst bush. See the movie he made, read the ariticle, and tell your friends to tell their friends to encourage him to serve again ..American needs him....in fact...I firmly believe that History does.
